Where’s your favorite place for Ethiopian food in the Twin Cities? I’m looking for recommendations – and if you have a favorite dish, tell me what to order.

I love Ethiopian food, so I was very happy to discover Awash, a new little eatery at 311 East Lake Street, Minneapolis. The zil zil tibs - sizzling hot strips of beef with peppers - ($24.99) and the small vegetarian sampler ($16.99) were delicious, and they claim to have the best injera in town, but what really impressed me was their coffee ($2): the beans are roasted in the kitchen, and the coffee is poured at the table, accompanied by a smoky incense burner that sent the soothing fragrance of frankensense wafting through the dining room.
